A VERY clean Yak!

We needed to transport the Fat Yaks, while still in the fermenters just prior to kegging! So as a precaution we Cold Filtered the brews to remove any sediment. All good. Regassed and rechilled! Ready to drink. GREAT Australian drinking weather this summer!!!

Dick Fixed It!

Leaking Keg... Bugger! Fixed a faulty black out valve on the keg, cleaned the bottom of the keezer. Loaded the new Czech Pilsner brew to be fermented in the keezer, set new thermostat @ 12C. Brewery barn door hing came off so also fixed that so that the brewery is still locked and loaded.

Kegging it, cause that's what I do!

2 Fat Yaks kegged, with a little hopping. 2 locked & loaded in the 'New' Keezer and 1 in the Kegerator! What an epic movie... Keezer v's Kegerator!

Brew 39-40 I LOVE to Count.... 2 Fat Yaks... with a bullish attitude!

* Keep'n it REAL! Away from the heat that is an Australian Summer by placing the fermenters under the house.

This is the commercial Fat Yak Pale Ale description from BeerBrewGuru...

Brand:Fat Yak
Brewer: Matilda Bay Brewing Company
Type: Ale
Style: Pale Ale
Region: South East Australia
Alcohol/vol(ABV): 4.7%

Brewers Description: Fat Yak first impresses with its golden colour, distinctive, hop driven, fruity and herbaceous aromas, giving characteristic passionfruit and melon notes, followed by a whack of hop flavour at the finish. The taste is refreshingly clean on the palate. Fat Yak is engineered in the Garage Brewery from natural ingredients, including premium malts, American Cascade hops and a hint of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. Enjoy!
